What Is Galvanized Steel?                                                                                              

		The galvanized coil is a thin steel plate in which a thin steel plate is immersed in a molten zinc bath to adhere a layer of zinc to the surface.Galvanized steel is a surface treatment technique that coats a layer of zinc on the surface of a metal, alloy or other material for aesthetics, rust prevention, and the like. The main method used is hot-dip galvanizing.
Zinc is easily soluble in acid and soluble in alkali, so it is called an amphoteric metal. Zinc hardly changes in dry air. In moist air, a dense zinc carbonate film is formed on the zinc surface.In the atmosphere containing sulfur dioxide, hydrogen sulfide and marine, the corrosion resistance of zinc is poor, especially in the atmosphere containing high temperature and high humidity containing organic acid, the zinc coating is easily corroded. The standard electrode potential of zinc is -0.76V. For steel substrates, zinc coating is an anodic coating. It is mainly used to prevent corrosion of steel. Its protective performance has a great relationship with the thickness of the coating. After passivation, dyeing or coating of the photoresist, the zinc coating can significantly improve its protection and decorative properties.

1. Cold galvanizing:is also called electro-galvanizing: it is to remove the oil, pickle, and then put

into the solution of zinc salt by electrolysis equipment, and connect the negative electrode of the

electrolysis equipment, place the zinc plate on the opposite side of the pipe fitting, and connect

When the positive electrode of the electrolysis device is turned on, a layer of zinc is deposited on

the pipe by the directional movement of the current from the positive electrode to the negative

electrode, and the cold-plated pipe member is processed and then galvanized.
2. Mechanical galvanizing: In a rotating drum equipped with plated parts, glass balls, zinc

powder, water and accelerator, the glass ball as the impact medium rotates with the drum, causing

friction and hammering on the surface of the plated part. The mechanical physical energy, under

the action of a chemical accelerator, "cold-welds" the plated zinc powder onto the surface of the

plated part to form a smooth, uniform and fine coating having a certain thickness.
3. Hot-dip galvanizing: The main method used for galvanizing the surface of steel sheets is hot-

dip galvanizing.

The production process of hot-dip galvanized sheet:preparation of original board → pre-plating

treatment → hot dip plating → post-plating treatment → finished product inspection. According to

the habits, the hot-dip galvanizing process is divided into two categories: off-line annealing and in-

line annealing.
